Description

The sculptor Daidalos is also said to have worked on Crete. The mythical tradition reflects a real core, that the development of Greek sculpture in the 7th century BC received new impulses mainly from Crete. This epoch of Greek art is called 'Daedalian' after the artist Daidalos. (AVS)
