Gebäudeansicht. Ansicht des Schlosses in Jever. Die Schlossfassade sowie die Nebengebäude sind vom Alten Markt aus dargestellt. Der Platz im Vordergrund ist durch verschiedene Personen und Tiere belebt. Die Vorlage stammt von Johann Heinrich Sander (1810-1865). Die Lithografie wurde von Albert Henry Payne (1812-1902) gefertigt, der in Leipzig den Verlag "Englische Kunstanstalt" betrieb. Veröffentlicht wurde das Blatt im Verlag der Schulzeschen Buchhandlung in Oldenburg (W. Berndt). Es war Teil des 1841 erschienenen Werkes »Malerisches Album von Oldenburg und Jever«.
