Die Teekanne ist aus Edelstahl ABS rostfrei und auf der Vorderseite mit dem MITROPA-Logo versehen. Dieses Logo wurde seit 1949 benutzt. Die Gestalterin Christa Petroff-Bohne entwarf Anfang der 60er Jahre für den VEB (volkseigener Betrieb) Auer Besteck-und Silberwaren (ABS) ein Edelstahlset, zu dem unter anderem auch diese Teekanne gehört. Das Set wurde bis in die 80er Jahre produziert. Die Teekanne hat ein Fassungsvermögen von 0,5 Litern.
