Description

Philodamus, ein Sklave griechischer Herrkunft, war um 70 v. Chr. als Münzbeschauer in den Diensten von Lucius Rubrius Dossenus tätig, wie wir aus anderen inschriftlichen Zeugnissen aus Minturnae in Mittelitalien wissen.
Dieser Lucius Rubrius hat aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach seinen "Betrieb" samt Belegschaft weiblichen Angehörigen vererbt. Denn Philodamus scheint seine Tätigkeit für zwei Frauen namens Rubria und Sabidia (im Genitiv verzeichnet) weiter ausgeübt zu haben. (AVS)
