Description

For the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 2009, berlinbrands initiated miniatures of some segments of the Berlin Wall on a scale of 1:25 for the VisibleWall brand. Motifs of the original concrete wall were transferred to the miniature scale and new motifs were also created. The artist group LuxPopArt played a decisive role in the realisation. These miniatures were produced in a limited edition (1989 copies) and were only produced and sold in 2009.
Quote from the brochure: "With the Wall Miniatures, VisibleWall wants to contribute to taking the message of peace from 1989 around the world. The Wall Miniatures are small peace ambassadors for all those who stand up again and again for the basic values of freedom and democracy."
The decorative motif (top) resembles an original piece of the Wall painted by Thierry Noir.
