Biography
Mezzotinter, traditionally called 'R.Williams' as he usually signs his plates in this way. His full name is given on a print after Drost (1843,0513.556). According to Tim Clayton in the DNB, of Welsh origins, and a pupil of Theodore Freres, and had a leg amputated.
